. . . because you'll totally get busted by your laughter. I purchased the book to cheer up a good friend who is going through a tough time, but couldn't resist reading it myself first. I tried to finish the last few pages at work before passing the book off to my co-worker/friend, but I really struggled not to laugh out inappropriately in the workplace. I purchased several similarly funny books lately, but this is one of the best! If you are looking for something to make you (or a friend) laugh, this one is pure gold!I tried to pick out a few of my favorites to share here, such as:"I broke my penis and it exploded all over my pants." (*pen)"Please tell her I have herpes." (*her pies)". . . stop leaving the bloody tampon!" (*bloody lamp on)If you enjoy immature humor as much as I do, I highly recommend you purchase this book. You will definitely LOL! Literally!
I bought this e-book along with a few similar ones, and this is definitely the best of the bunch. It's longer than many others and only has a couple of items that I also saw in other books. And I found most all of the items funny to some degree; Some made me do the little snuffle laugh, others made me do the normal laugh, but at least half of them had me laughing like a loon with tears rolling out of my eyes. The book seemed to get funnier somewhere in the middle. I don't think that's accurate, since it's arranged by categories rather than escalating funniness; I think I just reached the point of self-perpetuating, out-of-control laughter. I've read it twice and it was just as funny the second time.(As other reviewers have mentioned, a lot of the humor in this book is sexual, anatomical, or otherwise not appropriate for all audiences. So, be aware. But if you have an open and/or dirty mind, you should find plenty to amuse you.)The layout is fine - no graphics splitting between pages, etc. And the "phone/iPod" graphic on each page is consistent in size and placement, so "Damn You, Autocorrect!..." looks nicer and more professionally produced than some similar books that have a messy mix of different sizes and qualities of pictures.But... I couldn't give "Damn You, Autocorrect!..." a full five stars because it's just difficult to read (on Kindle Paperwhite). The aforementioned "phone/iPod" graphic takes up about half a Paperwhite page, with conversation in the "screen" part of the graphic. So, the text within ends up being tiny. It's *possible* to read at that size, but requires holding your device quite close and taking frequent eye-rest breaks. I'm unsure about other Kindles, but the Paperwhite doesn't have a great zoom feature (as far as I could determine.) It's *possible* to enlarge a graphic to fullscreen size, but requires either awkward double-taps or a [press-and-hold press-zoom close-zoom-with-X-at-top] thing. Either way is slow and awkward. And you're turning pages quickly, so all the zooming gets old fast!I considered returning this purchase due to the difficulty of reading and irritation of zooming, especially since it's a pretty high-priced e-book. But it's funny enough that I think I'd regret getting rid of it. I enjoyed it far more than any of the others I checked out. I imagine I'll find it funny for a long time, and I can share it with others who will also.
While this book is a little hard to right a review for, mostly because it is just full of screenshots from text conversations, it was still entertaining to read. Some of the conversations weren't the greatest ones I have read, but others made me bust up laughing. Overall, the book is fairly well done, the author makes some hilarious intros at the beginning, and the book was inexpensive.
This is the funniest book I have ever read. I was sitting at my hair stylist and crying with laughter reading the book. She begged me for the book when I was finished. But I would keep this book on my book shelf and read it every time you need some laughter. Its Terrific!
This was a funny book but the slang and humor was a bit dated....The texts go back as far as 2010!This would of been a lot better if it were more relevant to the current time.
